As a Business Development Manager at Amundson Group, I open conversations with construction firms who haven’t worked with us yet — and I work hard to earn the first brief. My day-to-day is talking with VPs of Operations, Presidents, and Talent Directors at heavy civil, site development, paving, multi-family, and data center contractors about the talent gaps they’re facing and where a specialist recruiting partner would make the biggest difference. I pride myself on understanding the construction industry well enough to have a real conversation, not a sales pitch. What I care about is earning the kind of trust that turns a first placement into a decade-long partnership.
