As a Senior Headhunter at Amundson Group, I lead our foreman recruiting across the Sun Belt — Texas, Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. I spend every day on the phone and on jobsites, working with the foremen, general foremen, and crew leaders who make or break a construction schedule. Whether the project is highway work for a Texas DOT contractor, a site-development package in Atlanta, or a paving crew in Florida, I know who’s available, who’s worth moving, and who’s a match for the culture of the hiring firm. What I care about is placing foremen who stay — and that starts with understanding both the crew they’re leading and the project they’re inheriting.
