As a Headhunter at Amundson Group, I specialize in the roles that keep construction projects accurate and on schedule — surveyors, schedulers, planners, fleet managers, and equipment operators. These are the positions most recruiters overlook, but on heavy civil and site development projects they determine whether the rest of the crew can actually do their job. I focus on building networks in each of these specialist disciplines so that when a client calls, I’m not scrambling to source — I already know who’s who in each function. What I care about is making sure the “non-core” roles get the same recruiting rigor as the senior ones.
