Amundson Group was founded in January 2020 by Alex Mowbray. The firm started as a small specialist team in Houston serving construction clients across heavy civil and commercial work and grew into a Sun Belt wide construction recruiting practice across multiple sectors.

Amundson Group is headquartered at 1336 Brittmoore Road in Houston, Texas. We operate on Central time across the Sun Belt and run a South Africa office for overnight sourcing, research, and pipeline development. The handoff gives us roughly 15 hours of active coverage every weekday.

Does Amundson Group recruit outside the Sun Belt?
Most of our placement volume happens in the Sun Belt because that is where our specialist depth is strongest. We do take selective searches outside the Sun Belt for established clients and for executive level roles. For pure local recruiting in markets where we do not have specialist depth, we are honest about that on the intake call rather than running a search we cannot serve.
