The 2026 Amundson Group Construction Compensation Report drops this summer. Built from our own placement data across the Sun Belt, not a survey. Median base, signing bonus frequency, vehicle allowance, and time to fill for 15 roles across 21 metros and 8 sectors.
Why this matters: every major recruiting firm in tech publishes a compensation report. Heidrick, Korn Ferry, Levels.fyi, Pave. In construction, nobody does at this granularity. The data that exists (BLS, industry associations) is slow, stale, too broad, and never broken down by role x metro the way hiring managers and candidates actually need.

Methodology
Primary data is Amundson Group’s own placement records over the trailing 12 months. Every role placed, with base salary, signing bonus, vehicle allowance, benefits summary, location, sector, years of experience banded, and placement date. Aggregated to role x metro x band, with minimum cell size of 5 placements. Below that threshold cells are rolled up to state or suppressed. Secondary triangulation against BLS OES May 2025 and Turner Building Cost Index for cost of living adjustments. Zero individual identification. No named clients in the dataset.
