A self-performing contractor in Northern Virginia is growing fast and needs an experienced Superintendent to step in and own multiple projects at once. This is a field leadership role based out of Warrenton, VA, managing 3-4 active jobs within 60 miles of Prince William County. If you have 5+ years running utility, earthwork, data center, or commercial projects and you’re ready to take on real responsibility, this is worth a conversation.
What You Will Run
- Oversee 3-4 concurrent projects with 2 crews per site
- Lead long utility, earthwork, data center, and commercial work
- Manage day-to-day operations, safety, scheduling, and crew performance
- Work with HCSS Heavy Job software for project tracking
- Report directly to ownership and support the hiring manager who is stretched thin
What It Takes
- 5+ years as a Superintendent with proven utility and earthwork experience
- Track record of stability. No year-to-year job hopping.
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and solid work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects without micromanagement
- Field-based role. You will be on site regularly.
Comp and Benefits
- $100,000 to $160,000 annually, with flexibility based on experience
- Full medical coverage with 80% employer contribution
- Vehicle and gas card provided
- Performance bonus up to 10% of salary, paid annually based on review
