Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Construction Equipment
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment, trucks, and fleet vehicles. This role involves both shop-based and field service work, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gasoline-powered equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy construction machinery, trucks, and vehicles.
- Conduct emergency repairs at remote job sites when required.
- Maintain parts inventory and assist with maintenance scheduling.
- Perform welding, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of heavy construction equipment repair experience.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to MIG, TIG, and stick weld.
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
- Ability to work independently in shop and field environments.
