Project Manager

  • Full Time
  • Texas
  • 140000-190000 USD / Year

Amundson Group

A self-performing contractor building critical infrastructure for the AI era is hiring a Program Project Manager to run manufacturing-scale delivery across multiple fabrication yards and integration facilities. This is a high-visibility, first-program-PM role in Greater Houston, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. You’ll own end-to-end coordination of a modular build program with 20 to 30 concurrent sites in development, managing vendors, schedules, quality, and logistics across the Houston area and nationally.

What You Will Run

  • End-to-end delivery of the manufacturing program across multiple fabrication yards, vendors, and integration facilities
  • Vendor and fabricator schedules so structural shells, equipment, and integration activities align on time
  • Coordination with the Quality Manager to deploy quality leads at each fabrication and integration location
  • Day-to-day oversight of subcontractors and vendors, holding them accountable for schedule, cost, and quality
  • Handover logistics from fabrication to integration, including moves between facilities
  • Progress tracking, risk management, and Power BI reporting to leadership
  • Regular progress meetings with vendors and internal teams
  • Early identification and resolution of bottlenecks before they hit the critical path
  • Vendor performance, delivery schedules, and change management with procurement
  • Definition of processes and standards that will scale the program into national deployment

What It Takes

  • 10 or more years in project management within fabrication, modular construction, EPC, energy, or industrial manufacturing
  • Direct experience managing work across fabrication yards or manufacturing vendors, ideally modular, skid, or module-based builds
  • Track record managing multiple vendors and subcontractors simultaneously across different locations
  • Excellent communication skills. You translate fluently between vendors, engineers, field teams, and leadership
  • Ability to think three-dimensionally about a program: how schedule, supply chain, quality, and logistics interact
  • Hands-on, self-directed approach. You build structure in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Experience with schedule and cost tracking, reporting, and project controls
  • Exposure to integration, commissioning, or completions on electrical or power equipment is a strong plus
  • Offshore, midstream, LNG, power, or data center module fabrication experience is highly relevant
  • Based in Greater Houston or willing to relocate quickly. This role is on-site, five days a week, with frequent local travel to vendors and fabrication yards, plus national travel to manufacturers and integration facilities
  • PMP is welcome but not required. Track record matters more than credentials
