A self-performing construction contractor is hiring a Weatherization Project Manager to lead multiple projects across Texas. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own budgets, schedules, and client relationships from proposal through completion. What You Will Run
- Project budgets converted from estimates, with real-time cost tracking and vendor management
- CPM schedules that keep work on or ahead of timeline, with change order management and value engineering solutions
- Multiple small projects or a single large project, depending on workload and company needs
- Work packages with secondary reviews, shutdown plans, and technical documentation ready before field crews mobilize
- Vendor files, purchase orders, subcontracts, and material orders coordinated with schedule priorities
- Client, engineer, and subcontractor relationships that build trust and repeat business
What It Takes
- Proven project management experience in construction, ideally weatherization or similar trades work
- Ability to build and maintain CPM schedules and communicate schedule status clearly
- Strong estimating and budget management skills, with comfort converting proposals into workable plans
- Vendor and subcontractor management experience
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Willingness to support proposal development, hiring, and internal training initiatives
- Problem-solving mindset that sees project challenges as opportunities to improve quality and reputation
- Ability to work under General Manager or Project Director guidance while contributing to leadership decisions
Compensation and Benefits
$104,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience and performance.
