A self-performing contractor in the Charlotte area is hiring a Utility Project Manager to oversee municipal and wastewater infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on leadership role managing 3-4 concurrent projects within a 30-mile radius of Charlotte. What you will run
- 3 to 4 active utility and wastewater projects simultaneously across the Charlotte metro
- Day-to-day project execution, scheduling, budgets, and quality control
- Coordination with municipal clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Field presence and problem-solving on active job sites
What it takes
- Proven experience managing municipal or wastewater utility projects
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with clients, crews, and stakeholders
- Local to the Charlotte area, no relocation required or desired
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
Compensation and benefits
$100,000 to $130,000 per year, plus benefits package.
