A self-performing commercial contractor is hiring two Traveling Superintendents to lead big box retail and commercial projects across Texas. If you have 5-15 years running $10M-$50M jobs and you’re ready to travel the DFW area and beyond, this is a strong opportunity with a stable, established firm.
What You Will Run
You will oversee ground-up and remodel projects in large retail, including big box grocery and retail environments. Your projects will range from single jobs from dirt to completion, or a portfolio of assignments where you manage all phases. You need proven experience leading these types of projects to the finish line. Examples of your background might include ground-up Kroger or Walmart builds with tilt walls, pre-cast planks, or similar scope in the $1M-$50M range.
What It Takes
- 5-15 years as a superintendent on commercial projects, $10M-$50M range
- Hands-on experience with big box retail, grocery stores, or ground-up commercial builds
- Remodel experience is welcome
- Willingness to travel throughout Texas for project assignments
- Track record of leading projects from start to finish
- Strong tenure and stability in your career
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year
- Discretionary bonuses throughout the year
- Fully covered health insurance
- Monthly truck allowance of $1,050 (taxed)
