Our client, a self-performing contractor, is hiring a Superintendent to lead Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and substation construction in the Tampa area. This is a hands-on leadership role managing crews, schedules, and quality on high-visibility energy infrastructure projects. If you have built BESS or substation work before, this is a direct match.
What you will run
- Daily field operations on BESS and substation projects
- Crew coordination, safety compliance, and schedule adherence
- Quality control and punch-list management
- Communication between field teams, project management, and the client
- Problem-solving on site to keep work moving
What it takes
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on BESS or substation projects
- Strong understanding of energy storage or electrical infrastructure construction
- Ability to manage multiple trades and keep crews productive
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to be on site daily
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Compensation
$120,000 to $140,000 per year, based on experience and background.
