A self-performing contractor in the Southeast is hiring a Senior Civil Estimator to lead pricing strategy and win major infrastructure projects. What You Will Run
You will own the estimating function for civil and infrastructure projects, from blueprint interpretation through final bid submission. You will build detailed budgets, manage change orders, and develop pricing strategies that win competitive work while protecting margins. You will work directly with engineers, architects, and owners to clarify scope, negotiate terms, and build relationships that drive repeat business. You will report to senior leadership and own accountability for estimate accuracy and project profitability.
What It Takes
- 7+ years of estimating experience in civil construction or telecom infrastructure
- Expert ability to read blueprints and use take-off software
- Strong client-facing and negotiation skills; comfort managing relationships across multiple stakeholders
- Strategic thinking around pricing, scope management, and competitive positioning
- Initiative and ownership mentality; you take on change order management and budget building without being asked
- Understanding of civil work scope and the ability to translate it into accurate, defensible estimates
Where You Will Work

Compensation and Upside
Base salary of $140,000 to $175,000 per year, plus a significant bonus structure. Year-end earnings expectations exceed $300,000 in your first year, depending on performance and company growth.
