What You Will Run
You will serve as a secondary safety leader on a two-year airport infrastructure project. Your responsibilities include managing safety protocols for trenching, excavation, and confined space operations. You will conduct site inspections, develop and implement safety programs, investigate incidents, and mentor crews on best practices. This role demands someone who can be both proactive and reactive, catching hazards before they become problems and responding decisively when issues arise.
What It Takes
- Minimum 10 years of construction safety experience
- Current certification: CSHO, CHSP, ASP, or CSP
- OSHA certifications required or strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with trenching, excavation, and confined space work
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Bilingual capability is an advantage
Comp and Benefits
Base salary ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 per year. You will receive a company truck, iPad, and corporate credit card for job-related expenses. The company offers an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) with 10-12% participation, giving you a real stake in the business.
