A self-performing contractor specializing in heavy civil and utility infrastructure is hiring a Project Manager to lead earthwork and storm drainage projects across Texas. This is a hands-on role managing square substation builds in remote areas, with real autonomy and a truck in your name.
What You Will Run
- Day-to-day project execution for earthwork and storm drainage scopes
- Substation construction projects in remote Texas locations
- Field coordination, scheduling, and quality control
- GPS and survey data management (GPS knowledge is a plus)
- Utility coordination where applicable
What It Takes
- Proven PM experience in heavy civil, earthwork, or utilities
- Comfort working in remote project locations
- Strong field presence and communication skills
- Familiarity with GPS, survey equipment, or site layout a bonus
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to be field-based
- Self-starter mentality; this contractor values owners who show up and solve problems
Comp and Benefits
$80,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience. Company vehicle provided, or $1,200 monthly truck allowance. Laptop and phone issued.
The Setup
You will be based in the Lewisville, TX area. This is a field role, so expect to spend most of your time on active projects. The contractor is open to in-person interviews as the first stage.
