Amundson Group
A self-performing contractor specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure is hiring a Project Manager to lead construction and rehabilitation projects across Tennessee. This is a hands-on role managing everything from sanitary sewer systems to pump stations, with real P&L responsibility and direct field leadership.
What You Will Run
You will own water and wastewater projects from bid through closeout. That means managing schedules, budgets, and crews on sanitary sewer and water main installation, rehabilitation, and replacement work. You will oversee pump station construction, force mains, gravity systems, bypass pumping, dewatering, and trenchless rehabilitation. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation subcontractors, prepare pay applications and change orders, and serve as the primary contact between ownership, engineers, inspectors, and field teams.
Day to day: jobsite visits, project meetings, redline drawings, budget tracking, subcontractor management, and problem-solving on the fly. You will work closely with field superintendents to keep production moving, quality high, and safety first.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and construction management software.
- Valid driver’s license and a dependable half-ton or larger pickup truck for jobsite travel (paid truck allowance provided).
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred: experience with pump station construction, bypass pumping, force mains, trenchless rehabilitation, municipal and public works contracts, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Procore, or a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
