Project Manager – Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
A self-performing contractor specializing in road reconstruction, underground work, and concrete paving is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. You’ll manage municipal and TXDOT projects from the field, working directly with experienced superintendents to keep complex jobs on track. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to own project delivery without the overhead of managing a large team.
What You Will Run
- Municipal road reconstruction projects, including underground and earthwork scopes
- Concrete paving and related construction work
- Day-to-day coordination with project superintendents and field crews
- Project scheduling, budgeting, and progress reporting using Primavera P6
- Client communication with municipalities and TXDOT representatives
What It Takes
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
- Experience managing paving, earthwork, or underground construction projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with superintendents and field teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail on multi-phase projects
- Comfortable working in the field and on job sites
- Valid driver’s license
