Project Manager, Civil Division
A self-performing contractor specializing in civil infrastructure and site development is building out their Lexington, South Carolina office and looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead mid-sized site work projects from the office. This is a leadership role managing schedules, budgets, and field operations across a growing civil team, with real autonomy and a clear path to impact project outcomes.
What You Will Run
- Manage schedules and budgets on civil projects valued between $1.5 million and $3 million, primarily site work, grading, and utility installation (storm drain systems).
- Oversee field operations from an office base, with regular site visits and field involvement required.
- Handle project estimation and manage scope changes when they arise, stepping in as needed without full-time estimating duties.
- Work within a 100-mile radius of the Lexington office, with per diem provided for out-of-town work.
- Manage a civil team of approximately 16-20 people, coordinating with a larger concrete division of 60+.
What It Takes
- 8-10 years of experience managing civil division projects, site work, grading, and utilities.
- Proficiency with project management and takeoff software (RockTech, Trimble, or similar). Procore experience is a plus.
- Ability to estimate projects and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
- Strong schedule and budget management skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to split time between office and field. Superintendents with dual-role or office experience are welcome to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $130,000 per year.
