A self-performing contractor is hiring a Pipe Foreman to lead large-diameter transmission pipeline installation across Texas. This is a crew leadership role for someone with deep pipeline experience who brings an established team and wants consistent work on high-stakes projects.
What You Will Run
You will manage a dedicated pipe crew of 6 to 11 personnel through the full scope of large-diameter transmission pipeline installation. Your crew will execute work in deep trench environments, some reaching 30 feet, installing steel, fiberglass, or bar-wrapped pipe systems. You coordinate daily tasks, equipment deployment, and crew productivity while ensuring every job meets safety, quality, and specification standards. You will also manage trench box setup, excavation safety practices, and crew transitions between project sites. Your team stays intact and travels together job-to-job with assigned equipment spreads.
What It Takes
- Minimum 5+ years as a Foreman in large-diameter pipeline construction
- Field progression through laborer, operator/pipe layer, and leadership roles
- Proven experience with transmission systems (not residential or subdivision utilities)
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Ability to bring an established crew including a lead excavator operator experienced in trench boxes and deep excavation, a top man, and a pipe layer
- E-Verify eligible (you and your crew)
Comp and Benefits
- Weekly pay: $2,500 to $3,200 based on experience
- Company vehicle provided
- Performance-based annual bonus: $5,000 to $50,000 depending on project success, safety record, quality performance, and overall company performance
