Sanitary Pipe Crew
A self-performing contractor across central Florida is hiring sanitary and storm pipe crews immediately. If you have hands-on experience laying pipe, managing deep sewer and storm work, and want steady 48-hour weeks with no travel, this is a direct hire opportunity with real growth potential.
What You Will Run
You will work on commercial projects and large residential multifamily developments (140-200 units) across three operating regions: northern (Brooksville/Springsville area), central (Hillsborough County), and southern (Port Charlotte/Sarasota). Work includes sanitary and storm pipe installation at depths up to 20 feet, with exposure to water, sewer, storm, and pressure pipe systems.
The ideal hire is a crew: foreman, pipe layer, and tail person working together. Individual foremen are considered, but crews are preferred. Hybrid crews with multiple skill sets are a plus. You do not need waterline experience.
What It Takes
- Proven experience in sanitary or storm pipe work, or both
- Knowledge of deep sewer and deep storm installation methods
- Ability to work 48 hours per week: four 10-hour shifts plus one 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, no weekends
- Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to be trained on systems or techniques you haven’t done before

Compensation and Benefits
Sanitary crews earn 83,000 to 104,000 per year. Individual crew members (pipe layers, tail persons, loaders) earn 19 to 27 per hour based on experience and role.
