Jr Estimator
A self-performing contractor in Texas is building out their estimating team and needs sharp junior estimators ready to learn fast. If you understand civil takeoffs and want hands-on training in a high-volume estimating department, this is your entry point into construction estimating.
What you will run
- Civil takeoffs and quantity calculations on active projects
- Administrative support for the estimating team during their busiest seasons
- Bid preparation and documentation under mentorship from experienced estimators
- Learning the full estimating workflow in a real, working environment
What it takes
- Understanding of civil takeoffs and basic estimating concepts
- Recent graduate or out of school preferred, but not required
- Hungry to learn and willing to do the work that builds the foundation
- Ability to stay organized and detail-oriented under deadline pressure
- Agtek experience is a plus, not a requirement
Comp and benefits
65,000 to 80,000 per year, based on experience and performance.
