Heavy Civil Estimator
A self-performing heavy civil contractor in the Plant City area is building out their estimating function and needs an experienced estimator to help win new work. This is a senior-level role for someone who knows how to bid competitively on site development, earthwork, and utility projects. Fully in-office position.
What you will run
- Lead estimating on civil site development projects
- Bid dirt work and pipeline installation scopes
- Develop accurate takeoffs and cost models to support business development
- Work directly with ownership and project teams to refine estimates and win bids
What it takes
- 7 to 10 years of heavy civil estimating experience, minimum
- Hands-on knowledge of site development, earthwork, and pipe work
- Ability to read plans, understand scope, and build detailed estimates
- Self-performing contractor background preferred
- Comfortable working in-office, full-time
