A self-performing contractor in the Austin area is hiring a General Superintendent to lead their utility operations across multiple active projects. This is a hands-on leadership role managing 7-8 foremen and crews from Buda to Georgetown, reporting directly to the Division Manager. If you have 5+ years running multiple crews and projects in utility work, this is a real opportunity to step into a bigger scope.
What you will run
- Day-to-day operations and safety across 7-8 foreman-led crews
- Multiple concurrent projects in the greater Austin region
- Quality, schedule, and crew productivity on utility specialty work
- Direct reporting relationship with the Division Manager
What it takes
- 5+ years as a Superintendent managing multiple crews and projects
- Proven experience in utility specialty work
- Ability to lead and hold foremen accountable
- Comfortable working across a geographic footprint from Buda to Georgetown
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to be mobile on projects
Comp and benefits
Compensation in the $130K range plus vehicle. This is a full-time, direct-hire role with a contractor that values experienced field leadership.
