Concrete Superintendent
A self-performing concrete contractor is hiring a Concrete Superintendent to lead a major industrial manufacturing project in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a full-scope concrete operation with 18-24 months of work ahead, plus follow-on projects. If you have 5+ years as a superintendent and know how to run large-scale concrete jobs from the ground up, this is a stable, home-based role with real longevity.
What You Will Run
You will oversee all concrete operations on a heavy industrial project that includes pile cap foundations, cast-in-place walls on pits, standard foundations, and large slab-on-grade work with heavy reinforcement. Your scope covers everything from forming and placement through finishing. You will manage crews, coordinate with trades, track schedules, and ensure quality and safety on a project that will keep you in Charlotte for the duration.
What It Takes
- Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent, ideally 7-8 years total in concrete construction
- Proven experience managing large-scale concrete projects
- Strong knowledge of form systems, including Doka forms and standard forming practices
- Proficiency with superintendent software for scheduling and project management
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Place and finishing experience is a plus
- Willingness to be field-based and home-based in Charlotte
We are open to sharp, up-and-coming candidates with slightly less experience if your track record shows you can handle the responsibility.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $90,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience

Timeline
Project mobilization is late January. We are moving quickly and want someone in place before that date. Interviews will begin in early January.
