A self-performing contractor with 35+ active projects across the Phoenix metro is hiring a Mechanical Superintendent to lead above-ground process mechanical piping work. This is a full-time, salaried role reporting to area general superintendents on a rotating basis. Local candidates preferred, relocation considered for the right fit.
What You Will Run
- Supervise and manage mechanical scope of work on active construction projects
- Oversee above-ground process mechanical piping installation and operations
- Coordinate with general superintendents across multiple Phoenix-area job sites
- Maintain project schedules, quality standards, and safety compliance
- Lead field crews and subcontractors to successful project completion
What It Takes
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent in construction
- Background in above-ground process mechanical piping, strongly preferred
- Experience in wastewater treatment, refinery, or similar process and industrial environments
- Welding knowledge or hands-on experience is a bonus
- Self-directed and adaptable, comfortable working under multiple supervisors across rotating project sites
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $110,000 to $135,000 DOE, up to $140,000 for exceptional candidates, plus annual bonus. Company truck, gas card, and comprehensive health insurance package included.
The Interview
Single-round interview, approximately 30 minutes. Decision made directly following the conversation. No second technical round required.
