A self-performing contractor is launching a new project in Ocala, Florida and needs an experienced Project Manager to lead it from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own the day-to-day execution, team coordination, and client relationships on a live construction job. What you will run
- Full project management responsibility for a new construction site in Ocala
- Daily coordination with field crews, subcontractors, and the client
- Schedule management, budget tracking, and quality oversight
- Safety compliance and on-site problem solving
- Reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
What it takes
- Proven project management experience in construction, preferably self-performing work
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to establish processes on a new job
- Willingness to be on-site and present, not remote
- Florida-based or willing to relocate to the Ocala area
Location and setup
You will be based in Ocala. Since the local office is still being established, there may be an initial training period at the Stuart office before you transition to the Ocala site. This is temporary and project-dependent. The role is on-site, not remote.
Compensation
$100,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience and background.
