Asphalt Superintendent
A self-performing contractor is looking for an experienced Asphalt Superintendent to lead their in-house paving division in Georgia. You’ll oversee multiple residential and commercial projects simultaneously, managing crews and keeping operations organized, on schedule, and efficient. This is a hands-on leadership role where planning and coordination directly impact project success.
What You Will Run
- Multiple active paving projects at the same time
- Crews of 6 to 8 employees across residential and commercial jobs
- Daily paving operations, including coordination with project teams
- Planning for manpower, materials, equipment, and scheduling needs
- Keeping projects on schedule and work moving efficiently
What It Takes
- Proven experience as an Asphalt or Paving Superintendent
- Strong background managing private residential and commercial paving projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects and crews at once
- Experience planning ahead and anticipating manpower and project needs
- Background in a self-perform or in-house paving operation, preferred
- Familiarity with asphalt paving equipment, pavers, and rollers
- Experience running a paving box is a plus
- Local to Georgia or willing to work in the area
- DOT and highway experience not required
