A self-performing contractor in North Georgia is hiring a Project Manager to run operations across their active portfolio. This is a field-forward role that demands both site presence and back-office discipline, with real P&L responsibility and direct client ownership.
What You Will Run
You will manage the full project lifecycle across multiple concurrent jobs: subcontracts, pay applications, scheduling, cost tracking, and change order administration. Weekly progress meetings keep all active projects aligned. Monthly cost-to-complete reporting feeds the business. You will own client relationships on long-term accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for project health and delivery.
The Work Split
- 50% field, 50% office
- Based out of Fairburn, GA with regional travel across North Georgia
- 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule
- Minimal weekend work
What It Takes
You need proven project management experience in self-performing construction, not vertical work. You are comfortable with subcontract management, equipment projections, and cost controls. You can read a schedule, track actuals against budget, and communicate clearly with crews and clients. You thrive in a 50/50 split between the field and the office, and you want real operational responsibility.
Comp and Benefits
Base salary target is approximately $125,000, with flexibility up to $140,000 depending on experience and background.
