A self-performing contractor in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is hiring a Project Manager to lead complex large diameter pipe projects. This is a hands-on leadership role managing multiple concurrent projects worth up to $50M, with a base salary of $110K to $145K plus performance bonus.
What You Will Run
You will oversee 3 project coordinators and work directly with superintendents on large diameter pipe installation projects ranging from 36 inches to 120 inches. Your portfolio will include steel, fiberglass, bar wrap, transmission mains, sewer, and storm applications. You will manage projects within a 60-mile radius of DFW from the Mansfield office, with weekly site visits. The role splits between office and field work, Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm.
What It Takes
- 10+ years in construction with at least 5 years as a Project Manager
- 1000+ feet of large diameter pipe project experience
- EIT background or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
- Hands-on experience in both design and engineering phases of pipe installation
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, HCSS, Excel, and scheduling software
- Strong crew management, leadership, and communication skills
- Minimum 3 years tenure at previous roles, with solid references
- Honest, hardworking, and accountable mindset
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $110K to $145K, paid weekly
- Performance bonus: $5K to $50K annually, paid end of year
- Vehicle allowance: $1,000 per month plus fuel card
