We’re recruiting a seasoned General Superintendent for a self-performing contractor in Houston. This is a leadership role built for someone who has spent 15+ years running divisions and managing multiple crews across heavy civil, utilities, and grading work. What you will run
You’ll oversee daily operations on active job sites, manage crew performance and safety, coordinate with project management on scheduling and logistics, and keep the work moving on time and on budget. This role sits at the intersection of field leadership and operations, so you’ll need to be comfortable with both the boots-on-ground reality and the office side of the business.
What it takes
- 15+ years of construction experience with proven success running divisions and multiple crews
- Solid background on residential, commercial, and heavy civil projects, particularly utilities and grading
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data tracking and reporting
- Local to Houston, TX (this is non-negotiable for the role)
- Strong leadership presence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage teams under pressure
