Project Manager, Heavy Civil Infrastructure
Our client, a self-performing heavy civil contractor, is hiring a Project Manager to lead roadway and infrastructure projects across Texas. You will own projects ranging from $8M to $50M+, working directly with owners, internal leadership, and diverse field teams. This is a client-facing role that demands both construction chops and polish.
What you will run
- End-to-end project management on heavy civil work: roadway construction, sitework, utilities, earthwork, and infrastructure.
- Coordination between field operations, subcontractors, and Spanish-speaking crews.
- Regular interaction with owners, clients, and company leadership.
- Budget, schedule, and quality oversight on projects in the $8M to $50M+ range.
What it takes
- Solid background in heavy civil construction, roadway, or infrastructure work.
- Strong TxDOT experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
- Proven track record managing projects in the $8M to $50M range.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfort working with diverse teams, including Spanish-speaking field crews.
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company at the owner level.
- Articulate, corporate-minded, and client-ready.
Compensation
$125,000 to $135,000 annually, based on experience.
