Project Manager
A self-performing heavy civil and heavy highway contractor in Phoenix is hiring an experienced Project Manager to fuel company growth. This is a permanent, long-term role, not tied to a single project. If you have deep heavy civil chops and want to run meaningful work from day one, this is worth a conversation. What You Will Run
- Heavy civil and heavy highway construction projects from start to finish
- Field operations including bridges, box culverts, concrete work, and potentially airport and runway projects
- Subcontractor coordination, owner relations, and internal team alignment
- Project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Business development support as the company expands its bridge work portfolio
What It Takes
- Extensive, hands-on background in heavy civil and heavy highway construction. This is non-negotiable.
- Direct experience with bridges, box culverts, and concrete work strongly preferred
- Airport or runway project experience is a significant plus
- Proven track record with contractors performing similar scope and scale
- Underground utilities-only backgrounds will not be considered
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $135,000 (sweet spot); up to $150,000 for 10+ years of highly relevant experience
- Bonus potential
