We’re recruiting a seasoned General Superintendent for a self-performing contractor in Houston. This is a leadership role built for someone who has spent 15+ years running divisions and managing multiple crews on heavy civil and commercial projects. What you will run
You’ll oversee daily operations across active job sites, manage crew performance and safety, coordinate with project management on scheduling and resource allocation, and own the execution side of utilities, grading, and site development work. This role sits at the intersection of field leadership and operations management, so you’ll need to be comfortable in both spaces.
What it takes
- 15+ years of construction experience with proven success running divisions and multiple crews
- Hands-on background in residential, commercial, and heavy civil construction, particularly utilities and grading
- Strong Excel skills for tracking metrics, budgets, and crew data
- Local to Houston, TX (non-negotiable)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be on site regularly
