A self-performing contractor is hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant water infrastructure project in Texas. This is a multi-year assignment with real scope, real budget, and the kind of visibility that builds careers. If you have 10-15 years in construction with at least 8-10 as a PM, this role is worth a serious look.
What you will run
You will manage a 5-year water treatment plant project from the phase where execution is ramping up. This is not a startup role. The project is established, the team is in place, and they need a PM who can step in and own the day-to-day: schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client relationships. You will report directly to leadership and have the autonomy that comes with a role of this scale.
What it takes
- 10-15 years in construction, with 8-10 of those years as a Project Manager
- Proven track record managing large, long-duration projects
- Strong command of scheduling, cost control, and team leadership
- Ability to manage client expectations and stakeholder communication
- Willingness to be based in Texas for the duration of the project
Comp and benefits
Salary: $120,000 to $140,000 per year, based on experience and performance.
- 2 weeks paid vacation and 5 days PTO annually
