Superintendent

The Role

A self-performing contractor with deep roots in the Southwest is building out their West Texas operations and needs an experienced Superintendent to run projects from the ground up. You will manage $20M to $45M jobs across asphalt paving, utilities, dirtwork, and concrete, with full autonomy over crews, scheduling, budgeting, and DOT coordination. This is a leadership position for someone ready to own the day-to-day and grow into a General Superintendent role over the next two decades.

What You Will Run

• Full project management from bidding through closeout on multiple active jobs in Lubbock and Odessa
• Crew oversight, scheduling, and safety execution on self-performed work
• Budget management and DOT coordination
• Travel across West Texas as needed (typically 45-50 hours per week, 5 days)

What It Takes

• 10+ years as a Superintendent with diverse experience in asphalt paving, utilities, dirtwork, and concrete
• Proven ability to manage large, complex projects independently
• Comfort with DOT work and regulatory coordination
• Willingness to relocate or travel extensively in West Texas
• Late 30s to early 40s, looking for a long-term home where you can advance to General Superintendent

Compensation and Benefits

• $100,000 to $120,000 per year
• $375 per week per diem
