The Role
Our client, a self-performing contractor, is hiring a Superintendent to manage a residential project in the Braselton area. You will run one site with 2 to 3 crews, with full autonomy to execute the work your way. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows mass grading and underground utilities on large-scale residential developments.
What You Will Run
- One active site with multiple crews under your direct supervision
- Mass grading and underground utility installation on 50+ acre residential lots
- Day-to-day operations, scheduling, safety, and quality control
- Coordination with trades and project stakeholders
What It Takes
- Proven experience managing mass grading and underground utilities on large residential projects
- Ability to lead 2 to 3 crews effectively
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to work in the metro Atlanta area
- Self-directed approach to project execution
Why This Matters
Our client has been active in the Braselton and Gainesville area for over 15 years and is not leaving. They are installing large sanitary sewer outfall lines that are opening up significant development in an underdeveloped region between Braselton, Auburn, Conyers, Covington, and Winder. This is the beginning of sustained growth in the area, and they have multiple jobs lined up.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 to $120,000 per year, paid weekly
- Company vehicle allowance (flexible, up to $800 per month)
- Company phone and iPad provided
- Commute compensation if your drive exceeds 90 miles
- Medical, dental, and health benefits after 30 days
- 401k eligibility after 180 days
- 15 days of combined vacation, sick, and personal time
