Senior Project Manager – Dallas, TX
A self-performing contractor with a robust public works portfolio is hiring Senior Project Managers to lead high-value projects across Texas. With over $300M in locked backlog and a two-year pipeline, this is stable, meaningful work managing projects in the $15M to $85M range.
What you will run
- Manage two active projects simultaneously, overseeing all field operations, budgets, schedules, and quality standards
- Lead exclusively public sector projects with established scopes and funding
- Spend roughly 80 percent of your time in the office (Dallas location near George Bush Turnpike) and 20 percent in the field
- Coordinate with subcontractors, inspectors, and client stakeholders to keep projects on track and profitable
- Own project profitability through cost control, schedule management, and risk mitigation
What it takes
- Proven track record managing projects in the $15M to $85M range
- Strong command of public sector project delivery, compliance, and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple projects without losing detail or momentum
- Solid communication skills with field teams, office staff, and clients
- Experience in construction management, scheduling, and cost control
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend time in the field
Compensation and benefits
- $120,000 to $175,000 per year, based on experience
- Truck allowance or company vehicle
