Amundson Group is recruiting a Mid-Level Superintendent for a self-performing contractor managing a 135-unit mixed-use development in Florida. This is an urgent hire with a start date in early to mid-August, offering the chance to lead a ground-up project from the ground floor and shape its execution across all trades.
What You Will Run
You will serve as the lead superintendent on a significant mixed-use project, owning day-to-day site operations, trade coordination, safety compliance, and schedule adherence. This role demands hands-on leadership, problem-solving in real time, and the ability to manage multiple work streams on a complex residential and commercial blend. You will report directly to project leadership and interface with all subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams.
What It Takes
- Proven experience as a superintendent on ground-up multifamily and/or mixed-use projects
- Strong command of construction sequencing, trade management, and site safety protocols
- Ability to read plans, manage budgets, and communicate clearly with crews and stakeholders
- Willingness to be on site consistently and lead by example
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation and Benefits
- $120,000 to $130,000 per year
- Truck allowance of $450 per month
- Phone allowance of $125 per month
