- Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Conduct toolbox talks, site audits, incident investigations, and root-cause analyses.
- Maintain safety documentation within Procore and HammerTech platforms.
- Support implementation of corporate safety programs and policies across assigned sites.
- Participate in pre-task planning, JSAs, and risk assessments.
- Provide on-site training, mentoring, and corrective coaching to field staff.
- Coordinate with senior safety leadership on corrective actions, trend reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Travel between job sites as needed within Georgia and the Carolinas.
What It Takes
- 5-8 years of construction safety management experience, preferably in heavy civil, utilities, or related trades.
- OSHA 30-hour certification required. CHST, CSHO, or EM 385-1-1 certification a plus.
- Hands-on familiarity with Procore and HammerTech or equivalent safety management platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of excavation, trenching, confined space, LOTO, and other high-risk activities.
- Proven ability to engage respectfully with field teams while maintaining authority and professionalism.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule and Compensation
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed for weather delays or project milestones. Salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and project scope. Full-time salaried position with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Long-term stability with a continuous regional project pipeline.
Who We’re Looking For
A balanced, collaborative safety professional with a coaching mindset. You lead through partnership rather than policing.
