The Role

A self-performing asphalt and paving contractor in South Carolina is hiring two Estimators to join their growing team. This is a hands-on estimating position where you will own the full bid cycle, from takeoff through pricing and delivery of hard bids. You will work on subdivisions, retail locations, industrial sites, county and city projects, and roadway work across the Carolinas.

What You Will Run

Complete bid packages from start to finish, not just takeoffs
Build costing models and price labor and materials for turnkey bids
Review estimates with leadership to align on cost and margin before submitting
Work in HCSS estimating software (preferred experience)
Manage bids across multiple project types and geographies

What It Takes

3 to 5 years of estimating experience in heavy highway, asphalt, or paving
NC DOT and SC DOT experience preferred
Familiarity with HCSS software is a plus
Ability to work in office 40 to 50 hours per week, with flexibility during bid cycles
Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Comp and Benefits

Salary: $75,000 to $115,000 per year, based on experience. Paid weekly.

Growth Path

Clear advancement from Junior Estimator to Estimator to Senior Estimator. You will report to the Senior Estimator in your office or to the VP of Estimating, depending on location. Positions available in Conway, Greenville, or Charlotte.
