A self-performing construction contractor with 500+ employees and $200M+ in annual revenue is hiring an Estimator to join their growing estimating department in Georgia. This is a core role in a firm that bids on nearly $2B in work annually and is scaling aggressively over the next five years. If you have solid takeoff skills, HeavyBid experience, and 5+ years in construction estimating, this is a real opportunity to land with a stable, growing outfit.
What You Will Run
- Produce full turnkey bid packages using HeavyBid software
- Execute takeoffs on a mix of new work and existing project bids
- Work strictly in the estimating function, not dual roles
- Collaborate with a team of 11 estimators and one Chief Estimator
- Potential path to Lead Estimator role within 18 months as the team expands
What It Takes
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- Proficiency in HeavyBid or willingness to master it quickly
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Project management background a plus for pricing perspective
- Strong takeoff skills, ideally trainable on the client’s specific workflows
- Ability to work from the Fairburn, Georgia location
Compensation and Benefits
- $90,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience
- Vehicle allowance or company vehicle option
- Performance bonus tied to company results
