A self-performing contractor in North Georgia is hiring a Project Manager to run their Fairburn-based operations. This is a hands-on role that splits your time between the field and the office, managing active projects from start to finish with real P&L responsibility.
What You Will Run
You will own the day-to-day execution of multiple projects across the North Georgia territory. Your core work includes subcontract management, pay applications, scheduling, and cost tracking. You will manage change orders, equipment projections, and plan coordination while maintaining strong relationships with long-term clients.
- Lead weekly progress meetings on all active projects
- Produce monthly cost-to-complete reporting
- Track budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with subs, clients, and internal teams
What It Takes
You need solid construction PM experience, ideally with a self-performing contractor or general contractor doing horizontal work. You should be comfortable in the field 50% of the time and at a desk the other 50%. A 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM schedule is standard, with regional travel as projects require. Minimal weekend work.
This role is not a fit if your background is primarily vertical construction without relevant sitework experience.
Comp and Benefits
Base salary target is approximately $125K, with flexibility up to $140K depending on experience and background.
