A self-performing contractor is staffing a 2-year infrastructure project in Southwest New Mexico and Arizona. If you run survey crews, own machine control operations, and can lead from the field, this is a solid opportunity with real project duration and stable work.
What you will run
- Full survey operations as party chief, from setup through final deliverables
- Machine control systems and field data collection
- Crew coordination and quality control on daily survey tasks
- CAD drafting and report preparation (if you have the skills)
What it takes
- Proven experience as a survey party chief or lead surveyor
- Hands-on competency with machine control equipment
- Full-spectrum survey skills: layout, as-built, grade work, and data management
- Ability to work in remote Southwest locations and manage crew logistics
- CAD drafting experience is a plus, not required
Comp and benefits
$70,000 to $90,000 per year. Daily lodging allowance of $75 provided.

Based initially in Southwest New Mexico with work extending into Arizona. This is a 2-year assignment, so you get real project continuity and the chance to build a crew and systems that stick.
