We’re recruiting a Senior Project Engineer for an immediate opening on a significant bridge and walls project in Orlando. Our client is a self-performing contractor with a strong track record on complex FDOT infrastructure work, and they need an experienced PE to step in and run this one.
What you will run
You’ll own day-to-day engineering and construction management on a complicated bridge project. This means coordinating with FDOT, managing submittals and RFIs, solving field problems in real time, and keeping the schedule and budget on track. You’ll work directly with the construction team and report to the project management hierarchy.
What it takes
- 4+ years as a Project Engineer on bridge and walls work
- Hands-on experience with FDOT projects and their requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Background from a major contractor: Lane, Skanska, Kiewit, Archer, Leware, or similar
- Ability to manage complexity, communicate clearly with owners and crews, and make decisions under pressure
