**Amundson Group**

A self-performing contractor is hiring a Tunnel Superintendent to lead trenchless operations on active job sites across Georgia. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee crew performance, manage safety and compliance, and drive efficiency on complex underground construction projects. If you have 2+ years of directional bore experience and the technical chops to run TBM and guided boring equipment, this is your next move.

## What You Will Run

- Daily trenchless crew operations, ensuring work meets installation specs and safety standards
- TBM, guided boring machines, auger boring machines, and trenching equipment in standard and high-risk areas
- Line and grade monitoring to keep alignment within tolerance
- Jacking operation records and documentation per job requirements
- Material and equipment inventory to support production schedules
- Site safety conditions, hazard identification, and corrective action
- Equipment maintenance, cleaning, and mechanical troubleshooting involving hydraulics and electronics

## What It Takes

- 2+ years of verifiable directional boring experience
- Ability to read and interpret maps, drawings, and project diagrams
- Knowledge of utility depths, placement, and confined space work
- Welding experience and mechanical aptitude
- Physical fitness for underground and confined spaces: climbing/crawling in shafts up to 50 feet, entering pipes 2 feet or larger in diameter, working in low overhead areas
- Strong attention to detail, safety mindset, and ability to lead others
- Excellent communication and people skills across all departments
- Willingness to travel out of town or out of state as required
- Reliable transportation and consistent work ethic

## Comp and Benefits

- 90,000 to 125,000 per year, paid weekly
