## Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager

Amundson Group is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager for a self-performing contractor ramping up a multi-year paving operation in Eastern Orange County, Florida. This is a direct-hire, full-time role managing a steady stream of milling and resurfacing work, not a one-off project. If you’ve run both field and office sides of paving operations and want autonomy to build something, this is worth a conversation.

## What You Will Run

- Day-to-day operations on milling and resurfacing work orders across Orange County under a 5-year county contract
- Multiple active work orders simultaneously from a field office and staged yard in the Eastern Orlando market
- Scheduling, resources, and subcontractor coordination for paving operations
- Progress tracking and deliverables management through notice-to-proceed and work order phases
- Primary on-site point of contact bridging field execution and office-side project management

## What It Takes

- Hands-on asphalt and paving operations experience, specifically milling and resurfacing
- Background in both field superintendent and project management or engineering functions, someone who has done both sides
- Ability to operate independently and run the market without micromanagement
- Comfort working out of a trailer and field office environment
- Strong track record of reliability and accountability
- Prior county or DOT roadway and paving contract experience is a strong plus

## Comp and Timeline

Salary range: 85k to 130k depending on background and title level. Full-time, direct hire. Hybrid schedule based out of Eastern Orange County field office. Contract work begins mid-December 2026 with a 5-year runway. Interviews happening within the next 30 days.
