## Senior Estimator

A self-performing contractor in the Charlotte area is hiring a Senior Estimator to lead their estimating function. This is a high-visibility role where your numbers drive project profitability and your judgment shapes which work the company pursues. If you’ve built a track record reading plans, managing scope, and defending estimates in a construction environment, this is worth a serious look.

## What you will run

- Estimate scope, labor, materials, and equipment for projects across the company’s portfolio
- Develop and defend bid packages with accuracy and confidence
- Partner with operations and project teams to refine estimates and close jobs
- Own the quality and timeliness of your estimates from RFQ to contract

## What it takes

- Proven experience as a Senior or Chief Estimator in construction
- Deep knowledge of takeoff, labor productivity, and cost control
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and bid documents with precision
- Strong communication skills and comfort presenting estimates to leadership and clients
- Willingness to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina

## Compensation and relocation

This role offers 130,000 dollars per year. Our client will support relocation costs based on your current location. Candidates relocating from out of state can expect meaningful assistance with the move.
