## Senior Estimator

A self-performing contractor in the mechanical and industrial construction space is growing its Dallas-Fort Worth operation and seeking experienced Senior Estimators to lead estimation on complex projects. This is a genuine expansion moment: they’ve just opened a new DFW office and are building out the team to match their pipeline. If you have 8+ years estimating water/wastewater treatment plants, industrial systems, or MEP/process work, this is a real opportunity to own scope and grow with a stable, established firm.

## What You Will Run

- Lead estimation on mechanical and industrial construction projects, from bid through closeout
- Develop detailed cost models, labor forecasts, and material takeoffs for complex systems
- Collaborate with project management and operations to refine estimates and support project execution
- Travel occasionally for client meetings and site walks (minimal, not burdensome)
- Work fully remote, hybrid, or in the DFW office – your choice

## What It Takes

- 8 to 10+ years as a Senior Estimator in mechanical, water/wastewater treatment, industrial, or MEP/process construction
- Strong background in Texas markets (DFW or Central TX preferred, but not required for the right candidate)
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with estimating software and spreadsheet modeling
- Clear communication with sales, project teams, and clients
- Willingness to mentor junior estimators as the team grows

## Compensation and Work Arrangement

Base salary: $130,000 to $160,000 per year, depending on experience and background. Fully remote, hybrid (2-3 days in office), or DFW-based – flexibility is built in. Out-of-state candidates with strong mechanical or industrial estimating backgrounds are welcome to apply.
