## Scheduler

A self-performing heavy civil contractor is hiring a Scheduler to own project timelines, budgets, and production workflows across active construction operations. This is a hands-on role where your scheduling expertise directly impacts project success and profitability. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to keep complex work on track.

## What you will run

- Develop and manage project schedules and narratives using production data, budget information, and input from engineers, project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams.
- Build baseline schedules during the bid process by collaborating with estimating and engineering to sequence all project work accurately.
- Track and report the impact of completed and delayed work by updating company-approved scheduling and financial reporting systems.
- Analyze production progress and identify risks to schedule or budget before they become problems.
- Generate and maintain cost and resource-loaded schedules.
- Deliver weekly and monthly project status reports to managers and Project Managers, and participate in preparation meetings to keep all project personnel informed.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve complex production and scheduling issues.

## What it takes

- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering preferred.
- 3+ years of heavy civil construction scheduler experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to self-prioritize, self-start, and multi-task in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with engineers, managers, superintendents, and field teams.

## Compensation and benefits

Salary range: $110,000 to $130,000 per year.
