A self-performing contractor is hiring a Project Manager to lead major infrastructure projects across California. This is a hands-on role managing complex heavy civil and roadway work, with real P&L responsibility and direct client interaction. If you’ve run DOT or CalTrans projects and want to step into a leadership position with a solid, growing firm, this is worth a conversation.

## What you will run

You will own project delivery from kickoff through closeout on large-scale infrastructure work. Your day includes coordinating crews and equipment across multiple sites, expediting material and service delivery, conducting inspections to ensure quality and compliance, and managing logistics to keep schedules tight. You will work directly with clients and stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and use project management software (HCSS, P6) to track progress and solve problems in real time.

## What it takes

- Proven project management experience in heavy civil, railroad, or infrastructure construction
- DOT and CalTrans project experience required
- Hands-on expediting and inspection background
- Proficiency with HCSS and P6
- Strong logistics and coordination skills across multiple sites and crews
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with clients

## Locations

San Diego, CA or Los Angeles, CA depending on project assignment.

## Compensation

$140,000 – $180,000 annually.
